Music at the Market
Join Sisters Farmers Market for live music in the park! Stay tuned here for our weekly updated music schedule and be sure to sign up for our newsletter to know who is playing when this season. We’ll see you at the Songbird Stage this summer!
THIS SUNDAY:
DoubleWide is a fun and folksy Americana duo based in Sisters, Oregon consisting of husband and wife team Sue and Rick Moore. Sue plays guitar, bass, and fiddle. Rick plays mandolin and guitar. They weave their original music and cover tunes together with lots of traditional and soulful harmonies, and "darn good pickin’". DoubleWide has played at Sisters Farmers Market, Frankie's (the old Depot), the Saloon, and High Camp Taphouse in Sisters. They have been featured on the Oregon Bluegrass Association showcase at Wintergrass in Seattle, played the main stages at the Wheeler County Bluegrass Festival in Fossil, and BetsieFest in Portland. They been featured live on "Music from the True Vine" on KBOO Radio, Portland and on "Center Stage" on KPOV Bend. Sue and Rick also lend their talents playing with frontman Tony Lompa as the Henkle Butte Ramblers, and with Scott Crabtree and Stevie V as the Haystack Jack Band. Rick and Sue have been making music together for over 40 years – their first encounter in graduate school being “you play guitar”?
